We use tools to help prepare drafts — transcribing steps, suggesting materials, drafting descriptions. Nothing is published on that basis alone. An editor reviews and approves every project before it goes live.

What we verify before publishing

For each project, a person on our team:

• Watches the full tutorial and confirms the finished outcome.
• Checks the materials, tools, sizes and quantities.
• Confirms the steps are reproducible and resolves anything ambiguous.
• Sets the difficulty, active time, drying time and suitable ages.
• Adds safety guidance where tools or materials warrant it.
• Selects the images and approves all copy.

A project cannot be marked ready while its materials, times, difficulty or instructions are still incomplete. Missing information blocks publication rather than shipping half-finished.

Safety comes first

Projects involving blades, heat, resin, wire or other hazards get a mandatory safety review, and carry clear adult-supervision and age guidance. See our safety information for the full picture.

Keeping projects accurate

Each project shows a “Last reviewed”date so you know how current it is. If something is wrong or unclear, tell us and we’ll correct it — accuracy matters more than being first.

Transparency about commerce

Some material recommendations are affiliate links, and we always say so where they appear. Sponsored projects and collections are clearly labelled. Our instructions stay useful whether or not you buy anything.
